Buggy safari Side price at a glance
Two prices apply on this site, both per person and both in euros. Everything else on this page is about who pays which one, and why.
If you are staying in one of the nine pickup areas, the transfer between your hotel and the base is already inside those prices, and nothing is taken from you online when you book. The booking page reads the current price at the moment you reserve, so the figure it shows is the one that applies to your booking.
- Driver — €30: the person at the wheel for the 18 km off-road route
- Passenger — €15: the person riding beside a driver, exactly half the driver's price
The driver fare: €30
You pay the driver fare if you are the one steering the buggy. Drivers must be at least 16, and the base looks at an ID to confirm that, purely for age. Licences simply do not come into it, as the buggy is driven on a private off-road course, not a public road.
Before the main route, every driver completes a compulsory practice drive. The guide assesses each driver and makes the final call on who takes the wheel. If you end up not driving, or change your mind once you have tried it, you still ride the full route, simply in the passenger seat and at the passenger fare. What the driver price buys, then, is the wheel for the 18 km route, together with the vehicle explanation and the practice drive that come before it.
The passenger fare: €15, exactly half
A passenger sits beside a driver and covers the same 18 km of forest tracks, dirt roads, dust and stream crossings, but does not steer. The passenger fare is €15, half of the driver's fare. The transfer, the helmet, the briefings and the route are exactly the same; the only thing a passenger does not get is the wheel.
Passengers can come from age 6. Anyone aged 6 to 15 rides as a passenger, while guests of 16 or over can choose: drive, or sit beside a driver and simply enjoy the ride. The passenger seat can also suit someone with back or neck trouble better, but please ask us before booking in that case, because the buggy shakes over rough ground.
No separate tariff for children, and every seat is paid
Children do not have a tariff of their own on this safari. A ten-year-old pays the passenger fare, just as an adult passenger does. There is no infant price either, and no place is handed out at no cost: every person who takes the transfer and joins the safari is booked, and pays, as a driver or as a passenger.
Under-6s cannot be booked, so there is no fare for them at all. If a younger child is travelling with you, plan the safari for the members of your group who meet the age rules.
When you book, the form counts drivers and passengers. It will not take more passengers than drivers on one booking, because each passenger rides with a driver. If your group has more passengers than drivers, drop us a line on WhatsApp and we will find a way to make the booking work.
What the price includes and what is extra
Not part of the price: goggles and bandanas, which the base sells; whatever you eat or drink; and photos or video shot by the base team, charged separately. We do not publish prices for those extras, so if they matter for your budget, bring a little more with you on the day.
Both fares cover the same list:
- Hotel pickup and drop-off within the nine listed areas
- The buggy for the safari
- Helmet
- Information briefing and safety briefing
- Vehicle explanation and practice drive
- Professional guidance on the route
- Insurance, where applicable under the operating policy
- Changing cabins and showers at the base
When and how you pay
No card is requested to make a booking, and paying online is not possible here at all. The fare is settled on the day of the tour. Reservations are open for any date from tomorrow onwards, online or on WhatsApp; if you are hoping for a place today, write to us on WhatsApp instead of using the form.
Plans change on holiday, and cancelling costs nothing as long as you do it at least 48 hours before the start. Since nothing was paid in advance, there is nothing to chase afterwards.
Working out the cost for your own group
Count the people who will drive and the people who will ride along, then apply €30 to each driver and €15 to each passenger. That is the whole calculation; there is no extra transfer charge for the nine pickup areas.
Bear in mind that the final split is settled at the base as well as at home. The guide has the last word on who drives after the practice drive, and anyone who ends up not driving rides as a passenger at the passenger fare.
Staying outside the nine areas, for example in Manavgat town centre, Antalya, Belek or Alanya? Ask us on WhatsApp before booking whether a transfer can be arranged; the prices on this page assume a pickup from one of the listed areas.
