About the safari

We collect you from your hotel in the Side area and drive you to a private off-road course inland from the coast. After registration, an information and a safety briefing, the vehicle explanation and a practice drive, the guide leads the group over forest tracks, dirt roads, dust and small stream crossings on the 18 km route; mud only when conditions allow.

Drivers are 16 or older; a passenger from 6 rides beside a driver at half the driver's fare. No driving licence is needed, because the safari runs on a private off-road course, not on public roads. The day takes about 4 to 4.5 hours door to door, and you pay on the tour day.

Questions about the buggy safari

What does the Side buggy safari cost?
Whoever drives pays €30; whoever rides alongside pays €15, exactly half. Nothing else is on the price list: children aged 6 and over ride at the passenger fare and nobody travels free. Payment happens on the tour day.
How long does the day take?
Allow around 4 to 4.5 hours in total, counted from the moment you are collected. The shuttle, registration, briefings, practice drive and the 18 km loop all fit inside that window.
Do I need a driving licence?
No: a licence plays no part, because the buggies only ever drive on private off-road land and never touch a public road. What matters instead is being 16 or older, showing an ID at registration and getting through the compulsory practice drive.
Can someone ride with me?
Yes. One passenger can sit next to each driver, paying half of what the driver pays. The minimum passenger age is 6; anyone aged 6 to 15 rides as a passenger, and from 16 you may pick either seat.
Where exactly is the course?
Inland from the Side seafront, in the Manavgat district of Antalya province, on off-road land kept for the safari. The shuttle drives you out and back, so there is nothing for you to find.
Which hotels does the shuttle serve?
The return transfer is included from Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Titreyengöl, Sorgun, Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. If you are staying anywhere else, ask us on WhatsApp before you book.
What is in the price?
Included are the shuttle, the buggy, a helmet, both briefings, the practice drive, a guide for the whole loop, insurance as far as the operating policy covers it, plus showers and changing cabins. Goggles and bandanas can be bought on site; meals, drinks and photos cost extra.
What should I wear?
Old, comfortable clothes in dark colours that can take dust or mud, plus closed shoes or trainers, since flip-flops are no good for driving. Bring a change of clothes for after the shower if you like.
How does payment work, and what if plans change?
Reserve online or on WhatsApp without any card. You pay on the day of the safari, and you can cancel free of charge as long as you tell us at least 48 hours before the start.
