How to book buggy safari Side, step by step
Booking takes a couple of minutes and needs no card. The steps are the same whether you use the form on this site or write to us instead:
- Choose a date — online bookings start from tomorrow
- Choose a departure; the calendar only shows the ones available on that date
- Enter the number of drivers and passengers
- Add your contact details and your hotel, which must be in one of the nine pickup areas
- Send the booking and wait for the confirmation with your pickup time
Drivers, passengers and what the form counts
The form counts drivers and passengers, because those are the two fares: €30 for each person at the wheel, €15 for each person riding alongside one. It will not accept more passengers than drivers on a single booking, since every passenger rides with a driver. If your group has more passengers than drivers, message us on WhatsApp so we can set the booking up together.
Ages are not checked by the form. They are checked at the base: drivers show an ID as proof that they are 16 or over, and passengers must be at least 6. Children under 6 cannot be booked at all, so please leave them off the count. Licences are not part of the check, because the safari is driven on a private off-road course instead of public roads.
Missing departures, pickup times and special requests
If a departure you hoped for is missing on a particular date, it is simply not running or not available that day. Try a different departure or day, or ask on WhatsApp which slots are still open.
Once the booking is in, the exact hotel pickup time is confirmed with it. That pickup comes before the departure you chose, because 08:00, 11:00 and 13:00 are the times the activity departs, not the times the transfer arrives at your hotel.
The online calendar opens from tomorrow. If you would like to go today, skip the form and write to us on WhatsApp; we will let you know if a same-day place can be found.
Return transfers are included for hotels in Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Titreyengöl, Sorgun, Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. If your hotel is elsewhere, for instance in Manavgat town centre, Antalya, Belek or Alanya, send us its name on WhatsApp first, so that we can tell you whether a transfer can be arranged.
Payment: nothing up front
Paying online is not possible here, and card details are never requested. Your booking is recorded as pay on the tour day, and that is when drivers pay €30 each and passengers €15 each.
The booking page shows the current price at the moment you reserve, and a passenger always pays exactly half of what a driver pays. Children have no tariff of their own; anyone aged 6 to 15 is simply booked as a passenger.
Goggles, bandanas, food, drinks, and any photos or video by the base team cost extra; buy them on the spot if you want them.
Cancellation: free until 48 hours before
If your plans change, you can cancel without paying anything as long as you do so at least 48 hours before the start of the safari. As no money changed hands when you booked, cancelling in time leaves nothing to settle.
The simplest way to cancel or ask about a change is a short WhatsApp message with the name and date on the booking. If the 48-hour mark has already passed, write to us anyway and we will tell you where things stand.
Worth checking before you send the booking
A minute of checking now saves a surprise on the day. Run through these points before you confirm:
- Every driver is 16 or older and will bring an ID
- Every passenger is at least 6
- Your hotel is in one of the nine pickup areas, or you have already asked us about yours
- Nobody in the group is pregnant, and anyone with back or neck problems, recent surgery or a heart condition has asked us first
- Everyone has old clothes and closed shoes ready, since flip-flops are not suitable for driving
- You understand that, after the compulsory practice drive, the guide decides who drives

What you are booking is one product: the Short route of 18 km on privately owned off-road ground behind the Side coast, taking about 4–4.5 hours from hotel and back with the transfer, briefings and practice drive counted in. A longer route exists on the same course but is not offered on this site yet.
