How group bookings work
There is no special group product on this site. A group of friends, colleagues or relatives books the regular Short route safari, 18 km off-road, on one of the three departures: 08:00, 11:00 or 13:00. Those times are when the activity sets off; hotel pickups happen earlier and are confirmed with the booking.
The form asks for two numbers only: how many will drive, and how many will ride along. The form shows only the departures still available for the date you pick. When your party will not fit the slot you wanted, switch to a different time or date, or ping us on WhatsApp so we can weigh up alternatives together. We cannot promise a departure reserved for your party alone.
Fares are the same for everyone, however many of you come: €30 for each driver and €15 for each passenger. Groups do not get a reduced rate, and the organiser's place is paid like any other.
Checklist for the person organising
Sorting out a few details before you book saves a lot of messages later. Ask everyone in the group these questions.
- Who wants to drive, and is every one of them 16 or older?
- Will each driver bring an ID that shows their age? It is checked at the base.
- Is anyone between 6 and 15? They ride as passengers, each next to a driver.
- Is anyone under 6? They cannot be booked.
- Is anyone pregnant, or dealing with back, neck or heart problems or recent surgery? Pregnancy rules the safari out; for the others, ask us first.
- Which hotel is each person staying at, and is it inside the nine transfer areas?
Balancing drivers and passengers in a buggy safari Side for groups
Every passenger rides beside a driver, so a booking can never contain more passengers than drivers. For most adult groups this is not an issue, because almost everyone wants to drive. It matters for mixed groups with children or with several people who would rather ride along.
The form counts roles, not pairs, so you do not need to decide in advance who sits beside whom. Keep in mind, too, that roles can shift at the base. All drivers complete the compulsory practice drive first, and it is the guide who decides who carries on at the wheel. Whoever ends up not driving, whether the guide decided it or they did, still does the whole loop from a passenger seat and pays the passenger price.
Transfers when your group is spread across hotels
Hotels in Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Titreyengöl, Sorgun, Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu and Kızılot are all on the shuttle's list, with the return trip covered. A group staying in several hotels within those areas can still book together; the pickup time depends on each hotel and the route, and it is confirmed with the booking.
If part of your group is staying outside those nine areas — in Manavgat town centre, Antalya, Belek or Alanya, for example — please check with us on WhatsApp before booking, as no pickup there is promised. The shuttle brings everyone back to their hotels after the safari, and the whole programme takes about 4–4.5 hours door to door.
Ground rules worth sharing with your group
Groups on a celebration, such as a birthday or a stag or hen trip, should know one rule in advance: nobody under the influence of alcohol or drugs takes part, either as a driver or as a passenger. Keep the drinks for after you are back at the hotel.
On the route the guide leads. The safety briefing covers following the guide, keeping a safe distance, overtaking and stopping rules, an appropriate speed and how the group is organised, and everyone is expected to stick to it. Racing each other is not part of this safari.
A helmet is provided for every guest. Goggles and bandanas can be bought on site; food, drinks and any photos or footage from the base crew are extras as well.
Paying and cancelling as a group
No one in the group needs to hand over card details to us; nothing is taken online. The fares are paid in person on the tour day. If someone drops out, adjust the booking in good time: cancelling costs nothing up to 48 hours before the start.
Online, the calendar opens at tomorrow's date. Hoping to go today, or for a group that needs some thinking through, write to us on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84. Reservations are made with Murat Atalay Travel Agency, TÜRSAB licence No. 11294.
Your drivers can leave their licences at home, because the entire loop is private off-road course and no public road is involved at any point. Clothes-wise, tell everyone to wear old, dark, comfortable outdoor clothes and closed shoes or trainers, and to bring a change for the showers at the base.
