Buggy safari from Kızılağaç, Kızılot and Gündoğdu: the essentials
Kızılağaç, Kızılot and Gündoğdu complete the list of nine areas, alongside Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Titreyengöl and Sorgun, from which the hotel transfer is included both ways. The shuttle takes you to the base, a private off-road course in the Manavgat district, inland rather than on the coast, and brings you back after the programme.
Everything else is the same as for any guest: an 18 km off-road route, approximately 4–4.5 hours from hotel door to hotel door, a fare of €30 per driver and €15 per passenger paid on the day, and a helmet, briefings, practice drive, guidance on the route and showers at the base included.
Booking for a group in more than one hotel
Holidays with friends or extended family often mean several hotels. One couple may be in Kızılot, another in Gündoğdu, and the grandparents somewhere in Kızılağaç. That is perfectly workable, but the pickup time depends on each hotel and the route the transfer takes, so we need to know about every hotel involved.
The simplest approach is to send one WhatsApp message to +90 536 603 75 84 listing each hotel and how many people are staying there, along with the date and departure you want. We will confirm how the pickup works for each hotel before you commit, so nobody is left waiting in the wrong lobby.
Drivers, passengers and how to split the party
Every buggy has a driver, and a passenger always rides with a driver. Anyone aged 16 or over may drive; guests from 6 to 15 ride as passengers. A single booking can't list more passengers than drivers, so a party with lots of children and few willing drivers should talk to us first.
Fares follow the role, not the age: €30 for each driver and €15 for each passenger, exactly half. There is no separate price for children. Drivers prove at registration, with an ID, that they are 16 or older, then complete a compulsory practice drive; afterwards it is up to the guide who steers, and anyone not cleared simply rides along as a passenger at the passenger fare.
Questions worth asking us on WhatsApp
These are the questions that save the most confusion later. Ask them in one message and we will reply to each.
- Is our hotel, or each of our hotels, inside the included transfer areas?
- Which departure, 08:00, 11:00 or 13:00, still has room on our date?
- How many drivers and passengers should we book for our mix of ages?
- Someone in our group has a back, neck or heart question: can we discuss it first?
- One of us is staying outside the nine areas: is a pickup possible?
Friends staying outside the included areas
Sometimes one member of the party is based elsewhere, for instance in Manavgat town centre, or is coming over from Antalya, Belek or Alanya. None of these is among the included pickup areas, and we do not promise a pickup from them.
That does not necessarily rule them out. Before anyone reserves, share that guest's exact address or hotel on WhatsApp so we can give an honest reply.
Paying and cancelling as a group
Nobody in your group pays anything when you book: this site takes no card details and no online payments. Each person's fare is settled on the tour day. That makes it easier to organise a mixed party, because you are not collecting money from everyone weeks in advance.
If your numbers change, tell us. Cancellation costs nothing while 48 hours or more remain before the start, which leaves room for the usual holiday changes of plan. Closer to the day, let us know as soon as you can if someone drops out or joins.
Once the shuttle has collected everyone
From then on the group stays together. After registration come the information briefing and the safety briefing, then the vehicle explanation and the drivers' practice drive. The guide heads the main safari along forest tracks, dirt roads and bumpy stretches, through small stream crossings and water-splash stops, with mud when conditions allow.
Tell everyone to wear old, dark clothes and closed shoes or trainers, since flip-flops are not suitable for driving, and to pack a towel plus fresh clothes for after showering. Nobody under the influence of alcohol or drugs takes part, so a quiet evening before the morning departure is a good idea for the whole party.
